A few days ago, while driving, my wife got a phone call. At that time a message was displayed on the screen if front of the steering wheel that read, "i-phone connected". After the call the message remains. If the phone is not present it reads, "i-phone disconnected". I can't change or get rid of this display. Any suggestions?
I'm scheduled to visit the dealer on Wednesday for an oil change, but I'm hoping this is something simple that, with the help of Forum members, I can fix myself.

Have you tried pressing the "SELECT" button on the (right side) steering wheel controls to dismiss the message?
If you have the car on or in accessory, press the left arrow and that will bring up a menu that should have an icon of a phone highlighted. Scroll up or down with the arrows to change what's displayed in the DIC. These are your options and where you can find the info in the manual:

When I hit the left arrow I found that "phone" was highlighted. When I scrolled to "info" at the top and hit enter my problem went away. Thank you. The Forum comes through again.
