FatMat and Block-It
I mentioned this in a reply to a post but I thought I'd start a thread on it as well. 2015 3LT Z51 M7. I lined behind the seats, the cargo floor, and the wheel housings with FatMat about a year ago, with really impressive results.
I was looking into getting some Lloyd mats and decided to try the Block-It sound reduction mats as well. I like the effect of the Block-It with the FatMat a lot. The sound of the exhaust still comes through under acceleration, but cruising on the Hwy at 80+ MPH is pretty quiet - on par with my BMW X5, I would guess.
For the first time since I got the car I can hear wind noise from around the mirrors; not a lot at all, but with the road noise that came into the cabin before I had never heard wind noise. It makes for pretty relaxed cruising with the exhaust set to "Sport."
Plus I can still go full juvenile delinquent just by setting the exhaust to "Track"!
