Default How do you....

Does anyone have pictures, explanation, or video on how to add a homelink sun visor to a 1LT/1LZ car (either 2015 or 2016)?

Although this is a video showing how to install a navigation module, removing the driver's sun visor is part of the process. What you want starts at 2:45 into the video.

Remove plastic trim/cover piece. Remove two torx screws. Pull down wiring harness and disconnect. Reconnect wiring harness with the new, Homelink visor. Screw back in the two torx screws and put the trim piece back on. You are now ready to program. The physical install takes all of 5-10 minutes.

I installed the Homelink in my 2015 and it took me longer to disconnect the connector than it took to do the swap.

Thanks I have the visor on order looks like it won't take long to replace it at all. Really appreciate all of the input.
