A brand New 2016 3LT Z51 coupe can be purchased right now at Kerbeck for $70,396 so the depreciation isn't that great. The other 2 cars are almost 3 model years old. A brand new 2016 1LT can be purchased at Kerbeck right now for $51,250 vs $44,995 for a 2014 with over 31,000 miles.
The bargain is the 2014 Z51 3LT...that's a savings of almost $18k. However there are dealers on this forum offering $20k off list for 2015 leftovers/ demos if yellow is your color.
I'm really not seeing bargains out there on used Stringrays just yet.
Can you provide a link to these? I check the for sale section often and I have never seen a 20k off. Yellow is totally my color!!

virtually ANY 1962 model car or truck in good driving and well maintained condition is worth at least 10 times it's orig MSRP.
Really? My 1967 MkII Jaguar was worth about $12K when I sold it. New it was about $5K. Be careful with absolutes. Indeed, the major point originally. It depends.

Check Autotrader. Chevy is offering 15% off, plus whatever the dealer will do. A white one in Texas is 21 or 22k off. I almost bought it yesterday. Act quick. There are only half as many left as a week ago.

Anything---even the lowliest AMC/Rambler, Ford Falcon, Chevy II, Dodge Dart or Valiant, you name it, anything from the '50s or '60s are now(or have been)worth WAY more than when new, unless they're almost junkers. Now, most '50s models are declining somewhat from their peak and many '70s and '80s models are now increasing in price.

If people are so obsessed with deprecation, why not lease? Example. My 2011 Yukon that I bought 5 years ago (and now own the pink) was 0% finance. So I bought it. Put $25 k down. Know what? That down payment I will get back when I sell it (next year) so whats the moral of the story? Doesn't matter lease/buy, deprecation is a fact of life. Had a 2010 GT3, drove it for two years ..still lost a few thousand on it. Very few cars appreciate Incudling P cars, ferraris, Bentleys. Drive em,love em, trade em
