Voice recognition problem
I have always used the voice recognition to play whatever songs I wanted on my SD card or USB thumb drive. But now for some reason it will not work. When I press the voice icon on the screen or use the steering wheel button the voice icon goes out and none of the songs I speak are recognized. I get the voice "pardon". My voice is recognized for the other commands such as radio, navigation, on star, etc just not for either of my song play lists. Any idea on what I did to cause this and how to remedy it?

Yep, you probably put too many songs on your media devices. Same thing happened to me. I did a redo with fewer song titles and all was good again.

Good luck.
Thanks, I wouldn't have thought about that. I swapped out the SD card with one with only five songs on it and the voice recognition worked again for both it and the USB thumb drive. My thumb drive has 1600 songs on it so that may have been part of the problem with it and the previous loaded SD card plugged in at the same time.

Glad it solved the problem. I too have wondered about having both SD Card and USB plugged in at the same time, and if the number of songs were additive in that situation. I think the manual says something about Voice Recognition working OK for up to about 4,000 son titles, but begins to not work between 4,000 and 8,000.
If you have too many songs, the system should tell you voice commands are not available every so often for songs. It does for me because I have 8,500 songs on a 128 GB USB stick. It's annoying that it says that so I just hit the "voice" button again to get the "DING" so I can talk.
