Navtool software update available.
Thought I'd make a separate post telling all Navtool users their new software has been updated to the Navtool website. I can confirm it works in that the unit now connects and it will ask you if you want to update. It successfully updated mine and there's a tab for settings where you can configure your unit. It also has a separate tab asking if your car is a manual or auto. I haven't tested it in the car but at least there's a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

I updated mine and was in a rush so I did not see some of the "features" you point out.
I will also add that the software tried to do an auto update as you mention, but mine crashed. During the time it crashed until I figured out how to get the update running, my radio screen was blank. My laptop is a Windows 10 machine for what its worth.
After the crash I selected Chevrolet Corvette from the vehicle menu and then selected "update." The software downloaded to my computer then undated the Navtool unit flawlessly.
I did this after corresponding with Vitaliy tonight, where I expressed my unit's complete failure, and he urged me to "update the unit."
I did not road test the unit, but the auto functions did not work in my garage. I could however select all the manual functions. Tomorrow I will try some of the options and maybe that will make a difference.
