Yeah, good idea---I like, would like it even better if GM had thought to offer an optional plug-in CD changer that size to slide in there.

Not likely you'll ever see that. The whole automotive industry is pretty much moving away from CD changers, sorta like what happened to the cassette deck.

OK---what other car is a CD player NOT avail on? Don't kid yourself and drink that weight reduction or obsolete technology kool-aid. The fact is that the deletion of a CD player availability allows a much less sophisticated audio/infotainment system to be used in a vehicle.

I ain't the only one sayin' it, Bud. Here's one of many articles:

http://www.wonderingsound.com/car-cd...decks-hyundai/

And don't kid yourself, the auto industry ain't in it to give you a "sophisticated audio/infotainment system." You can go ahead and keep buying CDs but get ready to rip them to your iPod.

Guys, this is a thread about the Bin Buddy, not about no CD player in the C7......

Got mine in last night and popped it in the car this morning. Perfect fit, and perfect look.

Ha. Such a simple idea and makes such a huge difference in functionality. I love it. Definitely recommend buying one, seems like a no-brainer to me. I keep my sunglasses, mints, work badge, and a few other tidbits, and now they are much more organized.

Two thumbs up CCA, well done.
