Default My next C7 (or C8) colors...

I have always liked dark blue colored cars.
My previous pick-up trucks, mustangs, bmw, mercedes, & vette were all dark blue.
Previous C5 vert was Navy Blue Metallic.
Current '14 C7 vert is Midnight Racing Blue. Love the dark blue color since it blends in well with the black rear end bottom.

Personally, just me, that from the rear view, the black color of the bottom half of the rear end really detracts for the other than dark (black or blue) of the other beautiful colors of the vette.

For my next Vette, I'm trying to visualize other possible colors, but the black bottom half of the rear end really bothers me.

Go to: http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette-stingray.html
& click the right arrow twice to get to the rear view, then click on the various colors to see the combo colors with black bottom.

I wonder if there's an option in the future to have color match rear bottom of the same color as the rest of the car.

Again, pls don't flame me, as I would love to get a different color like most of you for my next Vette.... maybe torch red or lighter blue...

You can always take the car to a good body shop, and have the lower section painted. Several here have done that. It's easy, and more than likely much cheaper than any option GM would offer.

Correction, your 2014 C7 vert is "Night Race Blue Metallic". Awesome color, the metal flakes pop in the correct light.

Hope GM has option for color match after 2017, or bring back deep dark blue or gray metallic....

Heres what my car has done to it. I think GM should've done this from the factory.

Best treatment of the rear I have seen. I agree that GM should have done something like that.

Must be you stated the color of your car in error. I wonder if that might have been a better name. I personally love my NRB Night Race Blue Corvette.

I guess it personal opinion. I don't care for it at all. Looks like the red is sagging... However I think the owner of a Corvette has the right to do whatever they like. I support the right to mod your car.

Looks great, wish I had seen this earlier. Was recently rear ended and would have been a good time to get it done.
