It's amazing that my C7 gets about as good of mileage as my Chevy Cruze...

What's the lowest you've ever had?

My worst is around 12.5 mpg.

7.9 was my worst.

It's nice that the C7 can get good mileage but if your getting 30+ MPG all the time why would you buy a sports car? I buy sports cars to drive hard, not to get great mileage.
Just my .02

I do enjoy great mileage on long trips. The other times I just fill it up and ignore mileage. It seems when I haul (_!_) the big dog eats.

Can't say I was hyper mileing on the trip, cruise set between 75 and 80 whenever possible, one pop to speed WELL in excess of legal limit
when road and traffic allowed.

I bought mine because its looks and styling is unbeatable for the price. Also because I have all the power and performance I want and need at my fingertips. And most of all because its a Corvette. Getting good gas mileage is icing on the cake. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. My 2 cents worth.

You can get some impressive mpg on long trips. My right foot seems to ruin it every time so far my best is 21.1 mpg.

Yea, ECS 1500 S/C with Meth, LT's with AFM disabled. Not built for mileage but still a blast.

Even as a DD, depending on the commute, it is possible to have great mileage and enjoy the sport aspect.

I live about 5 miles from where I work, so I average 16 and change. If I worked farther out, I would be on the interstate/freeway, where it is easy to turn upper 20s low 30s, even at 75-80 mph.

I definitely don't baby my car so the great mileage is just icing on the cake. Even if it averaged 10 mpg, I would still love the car, but it's nice that I can drive and drive and drive and not have to hit the gas station. In comparison, my Pontiac G8 GT that had intake, cam, exhaust, and tune didn't get near this great of mileage and wasn't as fast as my stock C7 either due to its weight.

Just had to run up to Portland OR a couple days ago. Nearly 250 mile round trip. Averaged 32.5 ...this is a bit better than my 2013 Subaru Outback. Not shabby.
