I see a lot of the same people posting problems with their powertrains. I think we all know that human nature is to post when you have a problem but not when you are happy with your PT.
I wanted to throw a quick poll up to see how many CF users are having PT problems and those who have not experienced any problems.
To start it off, my car has had zero PT issues over 8k miles and my car is nowhere near stock.
Post up approximate mileage as well and any comments on the PT in your C7
I might add that car companies offer long-term power train warranties because they are unlikely to ever have inherent failures based on factory defects.

Only 4700 miles on my '15 A8 and not a single issue. Went to Ron Fellows School in February and asked that very question and they stated the drive trains were bullet proof.
All 3 (FORD, GM, FCA ) cut their mileage from 100 to 60 thousand miles THIS YEAR. Are they telling us something??
Not really.
All warranties are based on the notion that the company will likely never have to pay out a claim. The change could be as simple as following the lead of the industry and as complex as the bean counters minimizing exposure and/or following ownership trends. I'm mean, how many people are driving their cars to 100,000 miles before trading them?

Me, for one.
I traded my 1st new car at 125k
2nd and 3rd had about 50k @ trade
C5 has 114k and I still have it
Bought an SUV w/ 89k already on it; now has 103k
Unless something goes majorly haywire, C7 should last at least as long, if not longer

Anecdotally speaking, I think you are in the minority. Most owners of high-end cars don't keep them long enough to put 100K miles on them. Lower-end car owners might be more likely to do that, but not as the original owner.
Of course, your post proves that it isn't necessarily build quality driving the lowering of warranty mileage.
Besides, most Corvette owners will hit the warranty time period before they hit the mileage.
