Well, the day has finally come and the C7 woke up this morning, yawned and stretched here legs and is back on the road ofter a long winter snooze.
Local roads are still dirty but the highways are good. Also not a terrible spring for potholes in Northern Ontario. The only ones showing are the ones they did not repair properly last year. This City seems to be unable to figure out how to properly fill a pothole. The other day I watched them shovel asphalt in a hole on a rainy day. Then they compacted the asphalt by backing the truck wheel over it and drove away. They have improved their technique of hitting the asphalt a few times with the back of the shovel to compact it!

That is standard fare for filling potholes. It is mandatory for city crews to go to Pennsylvania to learn from the state crews who do the turnpike there.
Enjoy your drive, I'm sure that the car was happy to get out of the garage.
