3LT driver door trim panel question
The 3LT door panel has a strip that is color coded to the interior color. It runs down from the dashboard/door panel junction to the armrest.
Does anyone know how this is mounted to the door panel? I am thinking of changing mine from ebony to Kalahari. Thanks.

It is all ONE piece. Go to Leatherseats.com, they have a video showing how they take the door panels apart. They melt the plastic rivets then wrap part of the panel and then melt the rivets back together. Way beyond my pay grade. What can go wrong will go wrong with most of my projects.

I have swapped out my black for kalahari on all, minus that piece as well. It's just too much work. To get the full look you would need to order both door panels ( in my case 3LT ones). Pricey. Also, the factory has a specific tool for mounting the driver side one correctly to all line up right. Best of luck if you do do it.
