Just took delivery of my white Z51 convertible. The car has the "carbon flash" full length racing stripe option. Wish I'd have read things more carefully, I thought I was getting stripes with a "carbon fibre" appearance, instead, I just paid $950 for black metallic stripe decals. Whatta rip....
Take 'em off.
I know that is not what you want to hear but if you don't like them then every time you get into your car you will be reminded that the stripes are not as you envisioned them to be. Search the aftermarket, there is sure to be someone who makes a carbon fiber look a like stripe that may fit what you want.
Yeah, the carbon flash badging looks great on white, but what the heck does that have to do with the OP's post?

Black metallic is better than fake carbon fiber vinyl. At least it matches the rest of the dark accents on the car.
Sorry about the bad 'surprise', but you should post up a few pictures.
I've seen a few AW C7s with the CF stripe package and think it's a killer combination. I'll be it will grow on you after the initial surprise wears off - hope it does.

There is a good chance that he has carbon flash somewhere else on the white vette, and it matches perfectly. Or he may add more carbon flash parts later.
Its not that the carbon flash stripes look bad, they're fine, but I probably could have had them painted on for half that price, if I knew "carbon flash" meant plain metallic black black. I wanted the fiber look, so its a little disappointing. Not a big deal though, I like the car, it has much different appearance than the black 2014 coupe I had...
From: Should this thoughtful, valuable contribution meet with no acknowledgement or 'thanks' this post----
why not simply apply 4D carbon fiber vinyl directly over the 'flash' stripe? $50 for a huge blanket size section of this wrap material on the bay of E.

I think it looks good, I also have a white 15 without the stripe, I would keep it.
