Default April 30th Delivery post pics/ throwback pics and old Vette ads-Mike@Criswell

~I'm hoping Spring has sprung as I like seeing Corvettes out on the road doing what they do best. This past week I flew down to the Corvette Bash in Bowling Green, Ky for 3 days of non stop Corvettes...oh yeah, I usually have 7 days per week of non stop Corvettes! Well sandwiched around my trip were some Corvette deliveries. I will do a separate post with all my Corvette Bash pics so stay tuned for that. Follow CorvetteFurman on Facebook and you can view many great video's and pictures of the new 2017's that were on display at the Corvette Museum.

~Mark B of Lovettsville, VA called me this past week and said it was time to upgrade his '13 Black Vette that he bought from me for a new 2016 Black Vette. He was floored when he first sat in the C7 Stingray and even more blown away by the drive home! He drives it daily so he is not afraid to get it dirty. He commented how much he likes Rev Match!

~The trade...bugs and all from a camping trip with his son.

~LP of Gaithersburg, MD in his new Shark Gray with Red interior and Gray top 7spd Z51 Convt.

~Gentleman flew up from Florida to drive away one of the last Daytona Sunrise Orange Convt's.

~Another cool optioned Z06 convt got delivered yesterday. Torch Red with Red Interior and the color matching vents.

~Blade Silver Stingray left the lot yesterday in fine fashion.

~Long Beach Red got delivered Tuesday before I left...great color!!

~Monday delivery of a Shark Gray Z06 goes to a local woman.

~I delivered several non Corvettes yesterday and one of them to former Corvette Club members of mine, Dave and Joanne moved to Delaware recently and they came yesterday to buy a new Traverse. I first met them when they bought new a 2006 Monterey Red Z51 Convt from me and since then have bought 6 total vehicles from me and have sent me countless referrals. Thank you for coming so far for your new Traverse!

~Throwback picture time...old Vette ads, Throwback pics and barn finds...and some interesting head scratching photo's.

I took this picture of this crate that was getting shipped to Australia...it is packed with spare parts for a 1963 Corvette Split Window that Tony's Corvette Shop had just restored. The car is amazing but it made sense that the owner would need a few things since his Corvette was getting restored half way around the World!

Limerock Green Show...

~Have a great Sunday...it's raining here so I may have to clean up my garage today.

Nice to see the no-top racing Vettes of years ago. Also good to see---I really like--- the collection of LRGreen Stingrays. Maybe by next year, there'll be a (small) collection of "Black Rose" Stingrays in their own show.

Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the usual great Sunday post. It's amazing when someone leaves their Corvette in the yard so long that a tree grows in the engine compartment!

Good job as usual Mike. Sharing a photo from our club's Corvette show today here in East Tennessee.....like the contrast between the old and new.
