I have never used this product. Can some of you who have experience using Slime school me on the product? I just put non run flats on my C7. Does this product have an adverse effect on the TPM? How much do you use in the tires? Etc?

Thanks!

I recommend going to Slime's web site. Says its "sensor safe" and you put in 16oz for a normal car. You will also need to carry a compressor.

I used it once on my C6 GS, right back tire MPSS. It actually did a very good job stopping the leak from a roofing nail, center tread. Got me home 20/25 miles and then to my local dealer. I'm guessing tire/fixer probably wasn't too happy about having to clean out all the gunk (slime inside) but didn't say anything. Patched and plugged tire and used the same sensor without any problems. They make a nice little kit with can of slime and compressor pump all-in-one that's refillable for about 30 bucks from forum vendors and other places on the web. I haven't replaced my R/F's yet but will probably get the Michelin AS3+ when I do; and another slime kit. Hopefully Michelin will have a R/F all-season available soon

Those won't fit the Z51 wheels for those who are wondering. Still only have the summer Michelins in run-flat version

Is any tire company making or planning to make an All-Season Run-Flat for the Z51?

Michelin says they are, but as I said above, they aren't out yet and best date I've heard is "later this spring/summer"

I think Pirelli might? But I haven't had too good of luck with the brand.

I couldn't wait any longer. I just rolled over 34,000 on the stock rubber. I have the new Michelin PSS RFs in a shop waiting to be installed on Saturday. Not fun to part with that kind of money but at least I know I'm getting an awesome tire that won't leave me stranded.

Me ether; getting A/S 3+ installed tomorrow (Non-RF)

You did good with 34K; I tend to take a few laps on the old track now and again so 24K was the best I could do.....but not complaining! The PSS are light years ahead of what they offered on my C6 GS.
