Default C7 performance questions/issues ??

i currently have a 2015 auto stingray, and lately im doubting its power and performance, i used to have a c6 previous to my current one and i never had an issue with immediate power and response as soon i floor the car it just would go.

lately sonatas and maximas are able to keep up with me. how in the world is that possible?

i would like to hear your feedback and if you have experienced this kind of issue with performance and response time.

My nemesis is the Prius! Those are some dang crazy drivers.
No, no problem with performance--I find it's so much better than the C6.

What mode are you in ? I find my throttle a bit slow in Tour, but still breaking in... but i know what you mean... I believe Sport is better, but there have been posts on this forum about throttle response and there are some things you can do about that.

I think the difference is that these guys are trying to race you to prove that they are faster than you. You on the other hand, having nothing to prove. Don't forget, your probably under half throttle, where these guys are close to full throttle.

I have not noticed any appreciable lag on throttle response with the M7 transmission. I usually operate in Sport mode. Tour seems to be a little lack luster in both steering and engine performance. Throttle seems crisper in Track mode, but could be my mind's expectations interfering. Internal workings of the automatic transmission could slow acceleration in certain conditions.

COW Booster will give you much more linear throttle response. COW tune will make you transmission shift more aggressively.

WTF ?
Maxima
0-60 6.2 seconds
1/4 mile 14.4 sec @ 98.6 mph
Corvette Stingray
0-60 3.9 seconds
1/4 mile 12.0 @ 119 mph

Are you in "E" mode?

Sounds as though you are getting to used to the power and handling of your car. Maybe time to send it to Callaway or another tuner.
I have the same issue until I look at the HP gauge and notice that I am using 50hp and staying with them.

Even in Eco mode, if you step on the throttle all the power comes back instantly.

Wow!!!! I owned a C6 2013 Grand Sport, 3LT, A6, loaded. Fast car for normal street use. Traded in, and orderd a 2016 C7 Stingray Z51, A8, 3LT. The C7 on all levels, including raw hp, torque, handling, driver feedback is far better than the C6.
