Thanks to everyone for their opinion on this. I am going to just repair the damage and hope that it lasts. Worst case scenario is I will replace the whole front bumper later if necessary. I want to minimize any potential colour matching issue.

I got this little beauty from a piece of concrete someone kicked up in front of me on the freeway. I haven't fixed it and it's too small to make an insurance claim obviously. How much are they quoting for the repair vs replacement? The bummer is I will have to have the xpel guy come out and do a new piece there.

What does your insurance adjuster say? He might go with a replacement??? That is, of course you prefer not to make a claim and pay for repairs yourself.
But if you do repairs, and I, like so many others, think it would look just fine...if you know the shop you pick is good, Chevrolet dealer or otherwise and make sure they REMOVE the bumper off the car for painting! Never paint a bumper on a car!

It also takes away any color match issues that you will encounter if the complete bumper cover is changed. I am a body man, I would not want the front cover replaced and make the repairs undetectable as any good body shop can do.

The repairs are low, the paint work can be kept low, Not a good idea to remove the cover unless absolutely necessary like a complete refinish.
