Default Quick question for you C7 guys...

I'm considering making an offer on a 2014 Premium Edition w/Z51... the dash panel (in photos) looks conventional. (I've yet to see the car in person)

Didn't all C7s come with the
adjustable/programmable display for the main dash cluster?

Thx mardyn

Yes - the Premier Editions all came with the 3LT interior in the Brownstone color, with the sueded microfiber inserts, upper A-pillars and steering wheel. They were all Z51s, loaded with pretty much every option, including Nav, PDR, mag ride, premium floor mats, Carbon Fiber dash, luggage, and a bunch of other options. The Coupes were all Laguna Blue with the manual 7-speed and the Convertibles were all Limerock Green with a Kalahari top, and came only in the A6 automatic. Great cars. Rare and highly optioned. Only 500 coupes and 550 Verts were built.

^^That describes the car I'm looking at precisely.

The photo of the dash looks so much like a regular analogue style instrument cluster... I just had to ask to make sure.

Thanks for the tips... I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

The center part of the instrument gauge cluster is a LCD display that is highly configurable based on driving mode and other factors. The gauges on either side are analog. The one on the left is a speedometer and the top right is the fuel level indicator. The lower right is engine coolant temperature.

Here is a close up of my cluster taken at the end of the production line, with Zero miles.

The Verts did not come with a Carbon Fiber dash, only the Coupes did. The Verts did not come with a sueded steering wheel.

And FWIW (just an interesting fact), the Dash Plaque did not spell Premier(e) the same way as the Window Sticker.

So… Whether it is is properly spelled "Premiere" or "Premier", is debatable.

@ the OP: are you looking at a Vert or a Coupe, and just for giggles, what is the #?

and then you have prior owner's like of my Coupe who besides keeping the luggage (as would I) changed out the plaque to the stock one, of which mine is #15

Ah Ha.... so the center part is the LCD and the outboard gauges are conventional.

Car I'm looking at is a coupe, don't remember the number... I'll look closer when I see it again.

btw... is it an LCD display or more of a Flexible Transistor Film tech?

Yup. and you can change it to show a ton of things, from the round tach to hockey stick and enough stuff to keep you playing for a while.

The OP said Premium (not Premier). Wonder if some one thinks 3LT is a premium model.

The original owner kept the dash plaque? That would never have occurred to me. If I ever sell mine, I too, will keep the luggage.

Good catch! I saw that, but just assumed he meant Premier.

Me either. I didn't know what the car was till the dealer ran the VIN and then I looked it up to make sure, but its got the regular plaque, unless the plaque was an option and he didn't get it.
