Great post as usual Mike. Question: Is the C3 on the trailer in the storage shed the same car as the C3 drag car "General" doing the wheel stand a couple pics lower? The hood scoop with the Stars looks the same on both.

40 years ago, this December, I bought one of the fifteen 1977 Corvettes purchased for the Omaha, Nebraska Tangier Shriners Corvette Patrol. Garwood Anderson, owner of Anderson Auto Sales in Wahoo, Nebraska, had me in the new Corvette of my dreams, inside 90 minutes of arriving at the Chevrolet dealership. Mine was a loaded-up L82:

Mike the restore comment reminded me of this driveway picture. The Corvette on the left is all original including factory paint. The other Corvette is restored to factory spec of black on red. Both are the 435HP motor cars. Always enjoy your old Corvette pictures!<br/>

When I see the group pictures of the Shriners from Omaha, picking-up their identical new Corvettes from the St, Louis, MO. GM Plant, I perk-up too. There's a couple more black and white photos of the group in another year picking them up as well.
One of the late Garwood Anderson's sons is a member here on CF. I noticed his post many months ago in regards the options/equipment on a C2 group Corvette pick-up Q from another member here. At the time I bought my C3 from their Chevrolet dealership, one of the sons, or both worked in the business with their Dad. They were twins as I recall; ******* and Garwood, were their first names. The Chevrolet dealership is long since closed in Wahoo, NE to my knowledge. My Father bought numerous new Oldsmobiles from Garwood Anderson's GM dealership in the 1950s.
