Default Sirius/XM icon missing

My Sirius XM icon is gone from my media screen. I have Audio, Phone, OnStar Nav, OnStar, Pandora, SMS Text, and one other.

Has anyone else experienced this? My trial is over but was renewing for 6 months today. I thought it went away cause the trial was over but the Sirius folks told me, "that's weird, it should have never gone away."

Did you try sliding the screen to the left to get to the second page? Maybe it got moved somehow.

Hello OrioleFan,

I’m sorry to see your Sirius XM icon seems to have gone missing from your Media Screen in your Corvette! I would suggest getting into contact with your dealer for this concern, as they might be in the best position to assist you. If this option is of interest to you, I would be more than willing to offer an additional layer of assistance. Please send us a private message with your VIN, full contact information, current mileage, and preferred dealer.

Have a great day,

I experienced the same problem. Went to dealer where they reflashed/updated/ did magic and I got it back.......today, lost it again.

I'm having same issue. What the responders are MISSING they don't get the fact there isn't an ICON that says XM on the radio. So all of the BS answers and who cares what they think of the service. The question relates to the radio, NOT the service.

IF anyone knows how to get the icon back on the radio , that's what were looking for in answer.

You can't call XM, they can't help you with a radio issue.

Anyone with knowledge of the electrical system, how to reboot the radio.

Thanks

Have you tried voice command to tune it to an XM channel? I know when I had trouble before, on a different head unit, I lost my icon because the XM antenna was going bad.

With the GM radio when the antenna goes bad you'll get a message on the screen. However to see the message you have to be tuned to a channel first. If your trial is over you can still tune into their promotion / demo channel to confirm the unit works. In fact it defaults to this channel when your subscription runs out. You can negotiate a better monthly price with them if you let it expire. I've got SiriusXM in 3 vehicles and have had the service for years (long before the merger).

Does anyone have a viable solution to the missing XM icon or is the only solution a dealer visit for "updating" the 'puter?
I expected my new '19 built three weeks ago would have the "latest" software, but the screen has no XM icon.
The only XM access was "Woodies Roadhouse" as a Favorites tab, from which I was able to access XM to change the station, but not access the XM channels...

So so this might not be much help but I have a 19 and do not have the xm icon either. My only way to get xm on is to go to the radio button and toggle through fm etc till xm comes on. There is no shortcut on the screen would be so nice to have.

This is what xm looks like in mine when turned on as well. Hope this helps.

Exactly what my screen looks like...
I have XM in my Mustang and it has an XM icon that allows selection of channels as well as an information screen that shows the radio number and other information. In my '17 C7 I also recall an XM icon that worked the same way... Could have been dreaming but don't think so....
