New paint facility

I have read they are building a new paint facilty, will it eliminate orange peel ??.........Why are they doing it?

I sure hope the new shop produces glass-smooth finishes or a lot of people are going to be disappointed. My guess is the paint will be better, but I doubt it will be a night/day difference.

If you all would have attended the 'Bash" in April you would have learned all about the new paint shop. Your comments a way off base.

My guess is the government will be issuing more environmental controls in the upcoming years and the cost to upgrade the older facility was prohibitive. Don't forget tax incentives. Finally, the new facility should produce a smoother finish, remains to be seen.
