It's not there because the Z51 has a full width rear spoiler, it's like that for a reason.

If you're referencing the lower front spoiler, I have heard two reasons, and its probably a combo of both. First, there is a better balance of downforce with the larger rear spoiler on the Z51. Second, the airflow through the missing center section underneath the car supplies more air to the various rear mounted coolers on the Z51.
