Our Regions Bank has a feature that allows emailing a hi-res photo to them and they will put it on your debit card for $10. Sooooo...

Nice! Your avatar would make a great background for a card too!
Wal-Mart used to do something similar. Through the photo department in some stores you could get them to put any picture and a Wal-Mart gift card. I thought it was a great idea but they've stopped offering it.
