Default A8 TC replaced

Got my car back today after 2 weeks in shop. They replaced the tc and re-programmed. So far 1st to 2nd flare seems fixed. Shifts seem to be more positive. Down shifts seem a lot smoother.

Bad news for the cars waiting for tc replacement, no tc's available.

Are they really backordered or is a new tc in the works?

Appears the new revised T/C is on backorder for the Stingray and the Z06. Thread on the Z06 forum indicated at least four owners were waiting on backordered T/C's, which have a different part number from the Stingray; however, are probably made at the same plant. I got mine in February, 2016, and the only delay was shipping. Glad I beat the rush. The more miles on the 2015's the more T/C's will need replacing.
