Chrome to Black wheels

I wanted to do the black emblems, black stinger stripe and black Z51 wheels. I found a set of silver Z51 wheels with tires a couple months ago. I striped them down and had the powder coated carbon flash metallic. I really happy with the way our velocity yellow stingray looks now. Here is a before and after.

The black accents go a lot better with the car. It looks great now!

Looks good but now it looks like most others you see. I just think the black wheel trend is getting a bit over done. Everyone thinks that is the way to go and it makes the car more aggressive looking.
But as I stated your Vette looks good, but it looked good before as well.

Looks great, everything now matches. Now that you have black wheels you just reduced your age by 50 years.

I really like your car. It has a great impact. Thank you for posting.

I would gladly swap my yellow/black top for the carbon fiber version. I like the look.

Your car looks very much like my own. I did remove the Stingray emblems, feeling (for me) they broke the continuity of the car's profile.

I have never wanted a color other then Velocity Yellow.

We now feel we would prefer an M7. I continue to prefer the 3LT for us.

IMO it looks a hundred times better with the black wheels and emblems. Certain colors can pull off chrome wheels and look good, but IMO Velocity yellow is a color that looks better with the black wheels and accents.
