Default How much attention does your Vette get and what color is it?

Not just from the general public but some girls. I'm young and I don't want chicks to think I'm an old dude

Should I get a Porsche?

First Jerry, get the car that YOU like....who cares about what others like.

And if what girls think is important, you'll get plenty of response from them in a Stingray. They'll appreciate your American Muscle.

Mine is Torch Red.....lot's of attention.

I understand but I like Porsche it just, I feel it will miss that bit of attention. We all know it's fun to get recognized in a nice car by people.

I get a lot of attention from them, especially since I put the personalized plate on! Mine is Yellow, not sure that matters as much though. Had two different lovely ladies pull up next to me in traffic last week, and roll down their windows to say hi and comment on the car/plate. It helps if the top is off I have noticed

I considered a Porsche too, before I got the Stingray. I had to talk myself into liking the Porsche. Every time I saw one, I said to myself, "That's a cute, little car."

Well.....I didn't want "cute", I didn't want "little". I wanted something that grabbed you and shook you up! Actually, my wife was pulling for the Porsche. When she saw the Corvette, she changed her mind.

This car looks more like a Ferrari (F12 Berlinetta) than anything else. Can you live with that???

My car gets a lot of attention and it is old man silver...I don't really care if girls like it or not. My wife digs it way more than she likes Porsche.

Guys, guys, guys......

Jerry is asking a legit question. He's a young man, single and women are important to him. Women were important to me when I was young and single too.

Quit being so negative and just answer his question. If you have something cheeky to say, simply move on.....

Dave, the seat belt guide mod is wire shrink wrap that I got, slid onto the seatbelt guide and put heat to it. Here is what it looks like before heating it up. Now the seat belts don't slide out of the guides.

Who said anything about hate? You're say your young and fear a Corvette might make you look old. Then go buy your Porsche. You answered your own question.

Yes but that's why I'm asking people who own corvettes, they obviously know the answer more than me.

Jerry,

Get what you want. If you live your life consumed by what others think, or what you think they think, you'll be the world's bitch and get run over the rest of your life, ultimately ending up acting, thinking and whining like Bernie Sanders.

Be your own pilot. If you want a Porsche, good for you, go get a Porsche. If you want a Corvette, good for you, go get a Corvette. Delegate to others the right to decide your interests/happiness at your own risk.

I totally understand that.

I want both. Right now the only deciding factor is which one get the more looks and attention from the girls and general public.

My LRG gets plenty of attention from both sexes. Lets face it, it's a beautiful color and pretty darn rare. What's not to like?

I didn't buy it for the attention, but ego boosts never hurt.

Jerry -

I had the same thought about 2 years ago and I decide to go with the Vette (it's my 3rd). It has a really nice look and a great sound. It's an eye catcher for sure, the girls will love it.

I decided on getting the Vette in black but, if i was in my 20's I would get Yellow or Laguna Blue . . .

Man, at the end of the day it's your choice and if you are spending 60k+ on a car get what looks the best to you, the Vette and Porsche are totally different looking cars.

Good Luck and I wish you all the best in you car shopping.
