I have been doing a lot of research but most of the information i have found is 2-3 years old and am not sure what else is out on the market.
What are the best C7 Headers out there these days in terms on sound and power? I would like something that has an increase in power across the power band and not just high RPMS.
Right there with you..... I think I've landed on ARH, now trying to decide cats or no cats. I was going to do mid length, since I just installed a Corsa X pipe, but the more I look, the more I lead to Long Tubes. And everything I find is geared toward LS motors and not Gen V Lt1!
There has been multiple header threads. Like everything, a lot has to do with preference. If you search really hard, one of the tuning shops had a thread up a year or so ago that compared the quality, fit, and power from a few different header manufacturers installed on an LT1. Don't expect a big power increase from headers alone. If you are looking at keeping warranty then you pretty much have to go with the mid tube headers from ARH.
As not to be redundant, I'll link to my recent thread. My research steered me to the Texas Speed long tube headers married to a Corsa Xtreme. The sound is absolutely amazing...pressing the loud pedal on the highway works better than lights or a horn.

I think that is the thread that I was referring to. For those asking the questions, don't forget you also have Texas Speed, LG and others to consider also.

Just had coated ARH mid-lengths with cats installed, along with a Corsa X and B&B Fusion exhaust. Sound is amazing. Any option other than this will relocate the cats. Which will require a tune. Which will get pretty much any engine-related warranty claim rejected by GM...because remember: GM is the final arbiter of claims, not the dealer. Also, a Chevy dealer won't pay good money for a car at trade-in time if they suspect it has been tuned.
