Default Custom seats

Has anyone had experience with changing the color of the seats in a C7, especially those with the seat fans in them? I'm looking at a new Z06 that has everything I want, except it has a black interior. I'd like to change it to gray or other lighter color, but don't want to mess up the electronics in the seats.

Any good places out there, especially around the Northeast?

Thanks.

I've seen people post nice pictures and good reviews about leatherseats.com. The do customizable seats for various cars, the c7 being one. I'm not sure about installation though, I think it's a DIY deal. Maybe someone that's used them will chime in, their stuff looks really nice.

It's not impossible, I did it in a truck using the Katzkin leather. A little costly as I had an upholstery shop install the covers. But, I was happy with the outcome.

You can check the forum vendors here, Truck Monkey, CULTRAG, etc for an idea on the cost of the dash/console/door parts if you're going that far.

Thanks for the thoughts. Probably won't go as far as dash, but may do a little trim too.

You can get the OEM seat covers and trim pieces from Cultrag Performance. Not sure about availability but they would certainly know. Good luck, and the DIY is not real hard on the interior stuff.
