How much of this car is "push tab A into slot A" assembly. It's a wonder it doesn't rattle itself to death. Just sayin'
My piece of junk is solid as a rock with no rattles at all after 25 months and 24,000 miles. I sure hope it doesn't fall apart going to the store tomorrow.

Hi CP,
My C7 is a total control car on tight mountain roads from CA89 to CA78 to US 199 and CA96. Holy crap does she hold the road when I put the pedal down. And not even one squeek or rattle. Now at 9K. She is everything I've been waiting for, GM got it right on all accounts.
First, some guy in another thread -- supposedly about how stupid other people are -- refers to "idiocracy" as a documentary. (I think the irony meter exploded.) And now this.
I really enjoy CF. But sometimes it is difficult. Very difficult.

Nowhere did I say that this was a bad thing. My C7 is tight as a bull's rear in winter.
I was just in awe that every time I see some mod being made to the C7: this snaps apart and that snaps apart, etc. I'm glad they don't use screws as it surely makes these mods much easier.
I am happy that GM got the tab and slot technology working so well.
I was not disparaging the car at all, just marveling at its construction.
