I have endured many Chicago winters in two C6 and C7 vettes. In my opinion, it doesn't make any sense to have a set of summer tires and a set of all season tires. All season tires have to be a compromise to have traction in both summer and winter.
I had Blizzaks for the C6. I got a set of Michelin Alpins for the C7. I have endured two Chicago winters with the Alpins and have never had a problem getting where I wanted to go.
In my opinion, all season tires are neither the best summer tires nor the best winter tires. Why have a vette and compromise the performance with compromise tires?

Just my opinion.
I used a Porsche 911 as a DD for over a decade, and put full snow tires on it for the winter... (they work, but also suck in all non-snow conditions...), but I had no choice it was my only car, I had to get to work.
I WOULD NOT recommend using a Corvette in the snow! If you have another car, use it instead.
That said, AS are really for when you get caught in bad weather...
Frankly, I park my C7 for the winter to get an insurance discount.
