Dexos is not the same as Mobil1. Dexos is a cheaper blend of synthetic and convential oil, you do realize that.........oooops, obviously not. Keep using Dexos and your engine will be destroyed.

You need to study a bit before posting crap like that. Dexos is a spec for oil, not a type or brand. GM requires Dexos oil in their vehicles, including the C7. Mobil1 meets the Dexos spec. Using the semi-synthetic GM Dexos spec oil will NOT "destroy" your engine; that is an absurd statement.
There are a multitude of oils that have the dexos certification. They include full synthetic and semi-synthetic blends. Most of the major oil brands have at least one that are dexos approved.

Waiting for my Mobil 1 Stickers as well. I received a nice email from their marketing dept after I sent a request ....they said they couldn't believe the response from our Corvette Community for them and they would be happy to send them to me.

To get stickers send a e-mail to mobilproducts@ourdataworks.com and send this message / I am inquiring about the oil change reminder & other stickers I had heard others mentioning on the Corvette forum for Mobil 1 users, specifically owners of the C7 Stingray that comes from the factory filled with Mobil 1 with your name and address and they will send them to you.
Mobil1 is a brand, as is GM, Castrol, etc. Dexos is a spec that many oils, including Mobil1, meet. Apples and oranges.
I realize a lot of Vette owners are OCD, but the angst about the use of GM's semi-synthetic oil that meets the Dexos spec is misplaced.
Any name brand of full synth oil is as good, if not better, than Mobil 1. Actually, as frequently as most Corvette owners change their oil, I'm not fully convinced that synthetic is even necessary. Just my opinion.
