Dealer does it. I was having OnStar Mobile app issues and they checked and did an update that took about 2 hours that seems to have solved my issue. Call the dealer and they can check.
Man two hours to update the OnStar Mobile App! Now there's some slow interwebs!
My dealer says that about every update. I was going to let them do the PDR update but found the files on-line and did it myself, which took four minutes using an SD card in the PDR slot. Not sure what the big deal is.

Methinks you didn't get my joke. By me saying "Man two hours to update the OnStar Mobile App!" I meant the mobile - i.e. the one on your phone, not the counterpart (is there even a counterpart) on your car's head unit. I don't know about you but when I update apps on my cell phone it takes a few minutes.
That said, how exactly did you get the PDR update (where?) and how exactly do you perform the update?

Oh yeah, mobile app. Never mind. My dealer keeps saying software updates can take hours or more, so I just got off on that tangent.

Read this thread for more info. My report is Reply #44. Be advised that it is probably not appropriate for 2016 cars, as they seem to all have a different version (higher number).
