I've been in V4 mode at 75 mph. I think the maximum speed it can go into V4 mode is about 100 mph given the frontal area of the car and the HP developed in V4 mode at less than 2800 rpm. In reality anything over 75 and V4 operation is fleeting as any slight up hill tilt causes the car to go to V8 mode.
Yup. Range AFM defeat device. Get the OBDII extension cord with switch with it or like previous poster said, battery will go dead in short order. With the extension cord you can shut off the AFM device and leave it installed. I start the car, turn it on and do the reverse when parking. Works great and no V-4 nonsense.
