had a windshield replaced now no on star lights on rear view checked connections disconnected battery and reconnected checked fuse for on star everything is ok anyone know what else to try?
Lucky you! The harness that supplies all the power is under that small cover directly behind the mirror. Did you pop that off to check it? Otherwise, if the windshield people broke it, they should fix it. If you don't like that, you're probably looking at a dealer visit then. Good luck!

yep checked the power behind mirror all plugged in guess its a dealer trip and I'm hating this fingers crossed maybe a easy fix ?
Fix? I'd consider it a feature. I hate seeing red and blue lights on the rear view mirror out of the corner of my eye. Whoever had that idea must have never driven a sports car.

They're just desensitizing us. I finally got 500 miles on my car and realized today that I'll be seeing red and blue lights in my mirror very frequently regardless of onstar's lights.

The red and blue lights in the mirror are one of the dumbest things ever. They must get car design people from journalism school graduates. They are equally incompetent.

Simple solution I used 2 1/2 years ago to solve that issue. A hole punch and black electrical tape!
Since I use my mirrors subconsciously all the time, don't have to look to see if it's flashing blue and red lights coming up behind me! I found them very distracting especially when driving aggressively!
