Default Windshield wiper question

Why doesn't the passenger side windshield wiper go all the way down under the hood when it is not in use? The driver side does, but not the passenger side. It looks "tacky" from inside the car and isn't very aero-dynamically engineered, or their is something wrong with mine.

Nothing wrong, only poor design, IMO. Each wiper should have been "hinged" on the outer sides of the windshield, like older models.

How do you know if that's an aero issue?

Why is it I can't raise my windshield wipers all the way up so that I can clean the windshield like I can on much cheaper cars!

Remove the right side wiper arm, you can put it back on in a lower position. It drops about 1 to 1.5 inches. I didn't like the position it sits at either.

I'm not sure you're talking about me but I was not being a smart alec. I would really like windshield wipers that would stay up when I wanted to clean the windshield. Many other cars have them. The vette doesn't. It would be a good addition IMHO.

Open the hood. They'll stay up.

Kind of referring to myself. No disrespect toward you, I would like the wipers to raise up without having to open the hood, but since 1998 I have been putting up with out that happening.
Felt almost as long as getting to 18!
