An affordable Mid-engine Corvette will grab (add) a lot sales of from others.
Can't wait... GM is already gearing up the production facility for next Gen Corvette. I bet she will look very sexy, with shorter hood and longer back side, more like a Lambo.

Clearly the size and capability of the current factory at BG needs to produce more than a few hundred supercars per year. The C7 and C8 may well be produced simultaneously for several years.
