Lots of people already told you to POST BETTER (CLEAR) PICTURES so quit asking more question until you post them!

I think people are having difficulty pinpointing exactly what you're talking about because of the out-of-focus pictures and your description of what you're seeing... there is nothing even remotely close to something being "silver" in the photo. I believe the enclosed picture shows more clearly that it's some sort of sealer or adhesive preventing the cross brace from vibrating or coming loose. You can see more of the stuff in the upper part of the photo.

It's normal, part of the manufacturing process.

I can't answer that question because I'm not a mechanic, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night.

Great term for a chassis BUT not a body! This is not a chassis part.

This is the most confusing post I have read in a long time!
Have no idea where this "thing" is even located! Assume under car and have been under mine many times and don't recall seeing anything that looks like a "brace." Guess it could be a floor brace which has nothing to do with the rigid chassis.

Some or the composite floor parts etc are glued together, like the rear tub that is attached with adhesive.

It's located directly under the driver's door sill.

It is a brace and industrial adhesive. The green circled picture shows a fastener, lack of paint around the fastener appears to be the silver fixture you are referring to.

Thanks, just looked at mine. As noted it is a floor brace under both sides about where the front seat bolts would go. Mine are all black including the adhesive. Suggest for the OP, it's a none issue.

Interesting Pic I took at Laguna Seca in August 2013 of the C7 frame. Note what the OP found appears to be a brace glued to the composite floor and located directly below the front seat bolts!
