Default PDR SD card?

I have a 2017 Z51 Coupe ordered with a TPW of 7/25/16. I am trying to learn all I can by reading the 2016 manual.

I see the PDR can be used sort of as a dash cam for regular driving. The manual recommends a 32gb class 10 SD card FAT32. Is there any reason a larger card cannot be used?

When I look at larger card on Amazon they don't list the format of FAT32 in the description. Is that why they can't be used? Don't really know what FAT32 is anyway!

Stick with 32 gb, and you'll have over 700 minutes of recorded video.

FAT32 is the 'file format' you need to use when formatting the SD card (in your computer) for use in the PDR.

Get 32GB or less class 10. It will work. I wasted all kinds of time looking for fat32.
The important part is class 10. They all work. Nobody puts fat32 on the lable. All of my class 10 cards under 32 work.

Thank you all, I will just stick with the 32gb card then. Didn't know how much that would record.

A larger SD card will work. It just has to be formatted in FAT32. Windows will format cards up to 32GB in FAT32. Anything larger has to be formatted with a third party utility. Many have used this freeware for formatting larger cards: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/ind...?guiformat.htm

Yeah, I only have a Mac and IPads. I'll just stick with the 32gb card and not worry about it. I assume the car does not come with a SD card so I will just buy a couple and call it a day.
