Mine worked fine at first (car picked up on 2/29), but lately it has been acting up. I've discovered that if I have the radio playing the iPod when I turn the car off, when I get back in it will pick up right where it left off (correct point of correct song in correct playlist). However, 9/10 times if I have the radio on some other source when I turn the car off, when I get back in the iPod will start over on song 1 of the entire iPod if it even recognizes that there's an iPod connected

I have also started to use a thumb drive instead of the iPod, it's been about two weeks and so far no issues other than I don't have all of my playlists on the thumb drive

In my 2016 I've been using a USB stick to play music. One issue I have is whenever I go from another source back to USB...shuffle is OFF even though I keep turning it on.

Are you sure that's not changing based on the memory function when you get in/out of the car? Next time you get in look at the shuffle icon, if it's off turn it on and re-save your seat memory.

I have a 1LT with no seat memory option.
