Congrats on an absolutely beautiful car. I ordered the exact same color, stripes, calipers, etc., except mine is a convertible. Thanks for sharing that photo. I'm breathlessly counting the days till MacMulkin calls me to book a trip to the museum to pick mine up.

Me too! (see below)

Now you BOTH need to join the Grand Sport Registry. We'd love to have you on board!

I'll join as soon as I pick mine up. What spoiler is that on yours? I ordered the stage 2 ground effects package in carbon flash. My interior is gray. Your 'Vert is gorgeous!

I'm sure yours will be just as gorgeous and you'll love the R8C delivery!

I don't care for the large stage 2 and 3 spoilers on a convertible so we ordered ours with the base stage 1 aero and then swapped out the front splitter and side skirts for carbon fiber units from C7 Carbon. Great quality and we ended up saving over $2K from GM's prices.

Enjoy that Grand Sport!

Manual, for sure.

I always tell people this...

"The day may come when I am too old or too feeble to operate a manual transmission Corvette but today is NOT that day!"

I'm one of the lucky ones whose wife prefers a stick shift, too!

Front is the Stage 1 (poverty splitter) and sides are Stage 2 (carbon flash painted). With my driveway I wanted to avoid destroying the carbon fiber splitter on day 1.

Put the Stage 2 spoiler extensions on today.

It definitely looks more aggressive. It's a pretty simple job but that two-sided tape is strong.

Looks great. Are the fender hash marks and your rear spoiler OEM?

Stage 2 looks great.
I want to do the same on my GS. The stage 1 is taped and bolted on?

Yes. The extensions don't even really need the bolts. They're on there with the tape. I decided not to pull the backing off the adhesive when I put the Stage 2s on so I can swap them out without having to yank them off. It looks like a 5-minute job, but it took me about a half hour. There are YT videos that show the process. I used a baggie over the end of the Torx 15 bit so it wouldn't scratch the hardware.

I put the short ones in the nice packaging I got with the Stage 2s for safekeeping. I might put them on for long trips. The taller ones look like they'll add a lot of drag at highway speed.

The Stage 1, 2, and 3 is confusing. Then again, im easily confused
Question...if you ordered Stage 2, does car come with Stage 1 installed & dealer upgrades it with Stage 2 kit? Wouldn't a driveway or uneven road surface pretty much trash the Stage 2 effects in one shot? I hear my C5 scrape every time I pull out of driveway. Is C7 Stage 2 lower?

The cars are shipped bare and the dealer installs the supplied kit.

Stage 1 has rear spoiler extensions that only clear the spoiler by a half inch. The splitter has no vertical splitter edges.

Stage 2 extensions clear the spoiler by 2-1/4 inches. There are small vertical edges edges on the splitter. All I added were the rear extensions.

Stage 3 adds the clear center section to the spoiler and has very tall edges on the splitter.

I think the splitters are all about the same height. Mine doesn't scrape on anything. If a driveway looks iffy, I cut in at an angle. I have my car at the stock ride height. If I do lower the car it won't be by much. If anything is going to scrape, it's the air dam underneath the splitter. I consider that a wear item.
