So I finally am ready to buy and I found an amazing deal (or what I think is one) on a 2015 Z51 Coupe 7 speed! It has every single feature I want and even has PDR which I didn't realize it had until reading the spec list one last time! Tell me what you guys think of the price...
So it's just about $50k..

Arctic White
Adrenaline Red interior
7 speed manual
Carbon Flash badges
~15k miles

I'm beyond excited! I'm 25 and this is my dream car (realistic dream car, not like an Aventador or P1) and it's finally happening! I'm putting only about $6k down on it. Getting it shipped to CA from MD. Definitely have a mod list already:
Carbon fiber Z06 rockers
Carbon fiber splitter
Painted targa roof
Lowering springs/Coilovers
Tints (not really a 'mod')
AWESOME ! Sounds like it was made for you ! Enjoy it to the MAX!
Any chance you are in NorCal? We've got A LOT of GREAT roads to really enjoy your new ride on.
You found the EXACT Vette you want for a bargain price! It doesn't get any better than that. You can look for another year and be lucky to find something close. I'd say buy it cause that's what I did earlier this year when a similar event happened.
Sounds very good. But, you can do your "homework" right at home. IMO, you need to go to any GM dealer service dept. (any, not just Chev.) and use the free, VIN to ask for the IVH/VIS report (Investigate Vehicle History/Vehicle Inquiry System). It will tell you any warranty, TSB work done on the car, and if there are any warranty blocks on the car. Next, for a charge, you can get both the AutoCheck and Carfax reports (each tells you something a little bit different and are "cross-checks" for each other and the car). Finally, unless it's coming to you as a CPO (certified pre-owned by Chevrolet/GM), I'd strongly urge you, or someone with technical knowledge of the make, model and year to go over the car on a lift, at cost to you. That is, before it gets shipped or driven to you. I realize this all sounds like a wet blanket on your dream (achievable) car, but I would rather not read your post about two weeks from now on potential issues that you knew nothing about. It is rare, and maybe unlikely, but still....
Thanks everyone! I can't f***ing wait!! I'll be finalizing the paperwork tomorrow and it should be here next week! Really seems to be a perfect car in a perfect situation for me! They reduced the price of the car because it's not a good market for the car and people aren't getting approved for it. It has NOT been test driven by anyone and it has a very clean carfax! The owner of the car works at the dealership I bought it from (a VERY good non-Chevy rated dealer- "A" from BBB and 4.6 rating out of 50 ratings online) and has gotten the car on a lift, took tons of pics for me to see every inch of it and had his mechanic look it over again. I really think this is a good situation!

I got your email! Thank you very much for your information and passion to make sure a new buyer gets what they deserve so thank you again. I am taking many precautions to make sure the car is in great shape and I will definitely go to Chevy and get the GM report! Thanks!
