I have similar comments as others. I went with 3LT despite choosing black so:
- I have Napa leather on seats (similar to previous cars I've owned)
- Have sueded interior roof and pillars (I like the luxury)
- I wanted red stitching
These are totally personal preferences....

It always amazes me all these people buying one vette then another, etc. What I don't understand is if you can drop say $50-70K on a car and then within 2 years buy another one then you must have some money. Why are you fretting about $3K then?
Or perhaps you're simply leasing every 2 years or whatever. Me? This is my ride into the sunset so I bought it, cash, and got everything I wanted. The only thing I didn't get was a move up to a Z06 because I couldn't justify the additional $22k for essentially a machine just about guaranteed to generate more speeding tickets than what I have already!
YMMV
It's a human condition. I have some friends that travel constantly. Really expensive. But they cheap out on things like software they need for their business. They'll use a free version of something that isn't nearly as convenient and is very time consuming compared to something they could buy for $60 and have for the life of any computers they buy and they won't pay for it. "Too Expensive!" Just one example to share.
While I would like leather on the dash, there is one esthetic reason I like the 2LT, especially with a bold-color interior choice (red, for example). I have had black dashes and colored dashes, and prefer all black. I realize this is an esthetic preference. So for a bold color like red I actually prefer the black dash (but I do like the red stitching)
Like lots of you, for navigation I use my iPhone anyway (Navigon).
