I have a noise coming from the left rear like a humming sound .took it to dealer and they say that is the cooling fan for the transmission. problem is the fan is on quite a bit when windows are up. any one else having this problem?
You might want to check out this thread that a number of us are posting on. We are hearing the sound, usually from the left rear at about 1200 to 1500 RPM with a light load on the throttle. If you remove your foot from the gas pedal, the noise goes away..... we are all thinking it is in the drive train as GM has replaced several folks exhaust systems etc without luck.
