Just brought my new C7 home. The interior lights/map lights are not turning off. The dimming switch to the left of the steering wheel is NOT turned clockwise all the way. The map lights do not dim and go off. Please help. I have not had time to read the manual as I just brought this car home. Thank You. I will do a proper introduction tomorrow.
The overhead and footwell lights should shut off when you shut the door. Is the passenger door ajar? Make sure you haven't turned the overhead lights on too. Everything will time out no matter what after ten minutes I think, maybe sooner, I forget.
I just went out to check and see if the passenger door was ajar. It was not. For some reason everything is working correctly now. Interior lights are cutting off correctly now. I can't wait to have time to read the manual. This C7 is a different beast than the C6. I was a little overwhelmed as the sales person was giving me an introduction to all the features/screens on the C7. Reading the manual is a must! Thanks for the reply. I will sleep better now knowing the lights are off.
My sales person was "shocked" when he started to go through the car's features and I said, "I'll figure it out." Got into my car and drove the 60 miles home.
I'm on my 6th Corvette and have read the instruction manual on every one of them.

IF they ever get stuck "on". Check and make sure your knee hasn't push in the dimmer ****. That'll turn 'em on.
