Most people on this forum who like the hash marks perhaps like them because of the history of hash marks on GS Corvettes. I am a long time Corvette guy and understand that historical significance. OTOH, 99% of the people who will see your car know nothing of the historical significance of the hash marks. Many of those people are tired of seeing so many cars with too many stripes on them. I am not yet decided on how I will order my GS. But, I am leaning towards no hash marks.

I did not even like the GS for one reason, hash marks. They are hideous (i get the whole history thing but no thanks). Then I learned you did not have to have them so I am a GS fan 100%. No stripes at all and it is a fantastic looking car.

Just needs the Blue Angels logo on the doors. Beautiful.

I really like hash marks-it's part of the heritage of the Grand Sport....gotta have them. Although, I don't really like the new C7 style hash marks....they should be 2 separate, distinct hashes, not connected at the top.

When the vinyl color compliments the paint color, it's all good.

Me too. Seems to be a lot of people who don't like them and prefer all the cars should look the same. No thanks to that.

I wonder why the connected them...maybe it looks better from front view.

I believe the way the connect them gives you, from the front, the appearance of a wider front fender.
