Default Blend Mount and Mirror Tap

Has anyone used the Blend Mount radar detector holder as well as the Mirror Tap power supply on the C7 yet? If so what are your results? Does the mirror stay steady? Does the Tap work?
What detector did you use?

Yes, hundreds have used blendmount with mirror tap power. No issues, most use Escort, Valentine or Beltron detectors. I have this setup with the Escort 8500 detector no problems with mirror shake, etc.

Greetings,

I did not. I simply mounted my radar and laser (if it detects, you're caught) detector just left of the steering wheel and hardwired the detector to the fuse box in rear compartment.

Not really sure if mounting the detector 24 inches higher and to the right will make it more accurate. Mine pretty much detects everything including Audi's.
