I wanted to show you my customized badge made by Sean at Vette FX!
I was lucky enough to get a blank center console badge from a CorvetteForum member. After trying to get this made locally here in Kansas City, Jagamajajaran suggest I contact Sean at Vette FX.
I told Sean what I wanted, sent him the blank badge and this is the beautiful work I got back....
Sean did an outstanding job! I can't thank him enough for his hard work.
^^^^ LOL....buddy, I've ordered a Carbon Fiber shift **** from Jersey at Apsis USA. It already came in, but it was done in high gloss. Jersey is having it re-done in matte finish.
Steven, Did your car come with the FAY option or did you have it put in after?
I know I swapped out the dash on my 2014 and wrote the whole install thread, but I'm not sure I want to go through all that work again for my 2015.....
First world problems I guess.....

uneven/distorted lettering disclaimer > personal observation...NO offense intended towards OP
This day in age, that's kind of unacceptable IMO. Even if it is hand painted, its not that hard to make a vinyl masked print out in order to get the letters laser straight

No, I added the Carbon Fiber Dash after taking delivery of my car. This car was actually order by someone else. They walked away from it and I purchased it. The lettering was so small, they vinyl cutter would barely do it....thus the reason for the unevenness.
And just so you guys know.......no, the lettering is not perfect (nor am I). Sean spent a ton of time on this and got it as good as possible. Jake is right-vinyl lettering is a pain to work with.
And no, no one is going to be banned for not liking this mod. There is no "party line" here.

I think its a cool idea. However, the implementation falls a little short. IMHO. Frankly, I wouldn't have released that part if my name and reputation were to be attached to it. Perhaps it looks better in person.

Good grief! If you knuckleheads can own a Corvette with the level of orange peel that has become "acceptable" to most, then a zoomed in close up on the badge that shows a little lettering variance shouldn't be a big deal either. Sheesh!
Steven, I think it looks great and I'm glad you finally got this made after trying to find a viable solution. Congrats!

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
