I've had NCM Insurance for several years. Had a rock chip claim. Went smoothly.
I'd recommend them.
Ask about the different options for your needs like yearly milage. They offer lower mileage rates for those who don't rack up a ton of miles per year.
With my C7 being so enjoyable and more comfortable to ride in compared to my former C5, I upped the yearly milage amount. Wasn't that big a difference in cost so it was well worth it to me.
Unfortunate, but good to hear. I've had them for several months. Very good team. USAA went from Mastercard to Visa few months back and I guess the company couldn't charge my card. I got an email from NCM Insurance saying my insurance was getting cancelled. I called to take care of it, and they were great. I can only hope they'll be this helpful when I need them (like in your case with a total loss or something).
One thing to consider is that the miles roll over. I got the highest mileage (I think 5K miles) and not using it. I might drop it to 3K next year and all my unused miles will roll over. I think it's about a 100 dollar difference over the year. I forget now... May not even be worth it.
Couple things add to the cost, but the rate is so low it's worth it. (like being able to take the car to work twice a week or something) Can take it out for any leisure (like dating gf/wife on a date, going to enjoy the movies) just no errands running really.
Saved me a ton of money compared to GEICO.

Just called NCM and had a great conversation with one of the insurance agents. I will save 20% to 50% on the annual premium when compared to the quotes from AARP Hatrford, and/or Farmers (current insurer). The key factors on the NCM insurance is that the vette is not a daily driver, used primarily for occasional pleasure use, is stored in a fully enclosed and lockable permanent structure (i.e. garage), agreed upon mileage tier, agreed upon dollar value of the vette, etc. I think it is well worth considering, especially since what others have posted.
^^^ I have the 6K mileage limit, and have been satisfied with NCM Insurance. If you are not using the car as a dd, then it is one of the most economical, or is the most economical way to insure a Corvette.

I have been going back and forth since buying my C7 about leaving USAA and going with the NCM policy for my C7. I have been with USAA for over 40 years and receive very low rates and an annual subscriber's dividend that further reduces my overall cost. I have received conflicting information about the limitations on using the car if it insured through the NCM. For instance, if you are out on a pleasure ride, can you stop at the grocery store or the bank? What about taking your wife to the mall? What about going to an IMSA race and parking at a hotel for a couple nights and using it to go to a restaurant? My C7 is by no means a DD as we have 2 other cars but we do occasionally use it for what would be called an "errand". We are both retired so driving to work is not an issue. I can save some money if I were to go with the NCM policy but I still like being able to drive my Corvette whenever and however I want to by having it insured as a 3rd car with USAA. Would appreciate some first hand feedback from those who have or have had the NCM insurance. Bad experiences would also be helpful to understand what limitations are placed on claims that were rejected. Thanks very much.
