Sorry to see that. I feel your pain! But fortunately it can be fixed to look as good as new. And thankfully there is no frame damage or any critical parts damaged. Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out. Per John Wooden.
I was completely stopped at a red light. Sat there for about a min when BAM, girl in a 1995 blazer hit me. She said "oh I didn't even see you" phone in hand. Completely sick

Make sure that's noted in the police report. Dumbasses should not be anywhere near their phones when driving.

The only reason I'm scared to drive mine down here is SW Florida. distracted drivers and the land of "Magoo".
Yea, took it to my local Chevy dealer. Crews Chevy in Charleston SC. Their collision center said someone from my insurance will be by Mon to take a look. I just want the proper parts put on and it made right. The entire back has to be replaced pretty much, maybe not tail lights. And the hatch won't open
For a short time while I was in college during the late 1970s/early 1980s drive through "beer barns" where the driver could buy beer without leaving the vehicle were popular. The current addiction to electronic pacifiers while driving is at least as stupid and a much more widespread problem.
Although I generally am against questionable injury lawsuits in a case like this I would stick it to the driver as much as possible. This kind of distracted driving is just as dangerous as deciding to have a few stiff mixed drinks and then going for a drive. Rant mode temporarily off.

That's all I want but now my car will have a bad car fax for the rest of its life
