Finally putting in my GS order tomorrow. This is the last option I am stuck on!
Anyone have any good pictures of the Carbon Fiber Dash in a 2LT black interior? I have found pictures of it up close but most do not show how it fits into the rest of the interior.
IMHO it needs to be a touch shinier-a little too flat for my tastes
Kind of needs a matching carbon fiber console or else it a job half done to me
I was thinking of buying the aftermarket console that matches it but I'm still not sure. I know the dash install looks like a PITA to install on your own.

I don't know if difficult is the right word, but I personally would be extremely nervous ripping the entire interior apart. And here I am building high end PCs once in a while.
With my luck I'd break something and have to have my car towed back to the dealer.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but isn't the dash just a fascia/overlay? A few clips and screws?

No, it's a full bolted in piece.
I can tell you that there is 100% no weight difference between the standard dash and the Carbon Fiber one. This is merely an appearance option. That is all.
Swapped in the OEM CF dash just a couple weeks after I got my C7. Lot's of videos and threads out on the Internet on how to do it. It isn't difficult, but you really need to take your time. Cover all potential scratchable surfaces. End result looks stock, and I saved myself around $500 (after selling the original dash). Besides, it was on constraint when I ordered the car, and I wanted the car more than I wanted the CF dash.
